Most of these birds were photographed around my house, but some were out at Antelope Island and others at the Bear River Bird Refuge. Although I have a photo page for the Bird Refuge, I decided to place most of the smaller birds here on these pages.

Some of the earlier photos of these birds were taken with my Olympus Digital C2500L using a 2x telephoto extender. Other photos were shot with a Canon EOS 300D (Digital Rebel), 6.3 megapixel SLR, and my EF 100-400mm IS Telescopic Zoom lens. Newer photos were taken with my new Canon EOS 20D, 8.2 Megapixel SLR Camera and the 100-400mm Telescopic lens. The last 6 photos of the Mourning Doves were taken with a Canon Powershot SD700 IS (16x zoom), Digital Elph. These photos are set to lower resolution and compressed 10:1 for faster loading.
