HIKING LEWIS PEAK June 2004 - 24 photos
June 6th, 2004 we hiked from North Ogden Pass to the south and followed the ridge to Lewis Peak. The peak is one of the lesser peaks along the Wasatch range at 8,031 foot altitude. Though lower, It does provide a beautiful view of the Ogden area. I thought it was a long hike, but the forest service lists it at 5.3 miles one way with a climb of about 2,000 feet. My new neighbors Mike and Michele joined us and they carried their small children all the way. I was quite impressed.
