HIKING TO ADAMS CANYON FALLS May 2002 - 15 photos
Located east of Layton Utah, this is a really nice day hike, which we did on May 19th, 2002. It's about two miles one way with a climb of 1500 feet and is considered strenuous.
The trail up to where it meets the bonnevile shoreline is in very good condition but quite steep. The trail above that is in fair condition but gets hard to follow in places. Hard to believe that this awesome canyon, with it's beautiful falls, is mere moments away from the busy city.
(Note... to see the waterfall in spring and early summer you must cross the stream and you may get wet! From mid summer on when the water is lower, you can cross on a rough log bridge and other places you can step stone to stone.)
